The beguiling enigma of this poetry is something we all share here, the osmosis of these befalling senses forbidden of sane territories emerge from the depths of those who have only known their tears to be viscous and blue, and through cursives inscribed on parched journals, they reach the depths of those who don't know what senses they are touched with when their conscious lurks in their dark pits.
What do you feel this poetry does to us? It deems us accountable of the cataclysms despite we are the receiving end of them, the storms that come to us, or shall I say the turns we take leading us to them, and we named it another phase of our life, an inevitable one. We thread verses of the metamorphosis of our soul that transpired with each staggering step through the tides cutting through our being, keeping a hope there is an end to this tunnel, we will walk it out with an evolved persona and hold gratitude in our hearts for choosing to live amidst the bleeding days.
We have lived love from this poetry, the love we were lucky to have, bringing out all of its saccharine joy into these words, as immature and simple as it sounds, as cliche it can be, still it's the love we choose to live over and over again. And then there is the love some of us keep all to ourselves, we dare not let it escape the threshold of our lips, for the moment they do so, the sacred secrecy it holds would ruin, maybe we don't trust our voices that much so we limit its algorithms to things that won't deem us vulnerable. Or sometimes we don't want our emotions to be laughed at, for some scars on our skin or on our backgrounds can deem us unworthy of having them in the first place.
And so this poetry was a train of twisted troubles I decorated with fairylights, so they would gleam of colours of the beauty I see in them, and hopefully, it will be seen the same way when it makes its way to the hearts I present them to, for there is a joy to be heard by an anonymous heart, there is the possibility of walking with them in the blocks of imagery I pave, and sometimes there is beauty in the whirls of thoughts I create opening dimensions I have never been in, yet they feel homesick.
This is the impact of poetry on me, the sweetness of summer I'm rewarded with on the other side is way sweeter than what I had anticipated while walking in the biting storms.
Poetry is actually catharsis for me. We suffer, we scribble, we decorate those scribbles the best we can and put them up to the world, hoping to be appreciated and understood. A big yes to poetry being the being the redeemer that takes us through biting storms to the sunny side. You have done such justice to all that poetry is and more here. Well done, dear Muskaan.

I think it is brave and wonderful of you to write a very personal impact that poetry has on you, and open your thoughts to us, the readers…..” it’s the love we choose to live over and over again”…..I believe that you see poetry as a kind of gift to those lucky enough to read and enjoy….the impact on poetry for you seems to touch your heart and hope that yours touches other’s hearts…. Lovely story beginning to end!
Warmly, B🌷

You have combined art and poetry with exquisite beauty in this exquisitely inked poetic gem, dear P. V... We draw from our real life experiences usually when we write a poem, though some poems are totally inspired by inspiration which came out of nowhere. Through writing of our experiences in our poetry, sometimes it turns out to be very healing as we can see things in a very different light a long time after the events took place. By writing of the experiences, it gets them out of our head and down on paper and the great thing is, that these inkings may help a person way down the line with something they have or are currently experiencing and they can draw from the poem in a way that it may help them to heal and move on with their lives. Your deep and insightful, thought provoking write and intuitive write is a truly exceptional write, dear P. V... Kudo's well deserved! SO enjoyed reading and pondering over your words. Thank you for sharing...

That's what makes this topic vast, because the ways in which a poetry emerges is so very discreet and unique, I was only reflecting to one of its phase of how it turns out to be, what it becomes and where it comes from. It makes me happy you found this writing to be of a perceptive kind Marie. You are always give me a deeply thought review that gives me new ways to think, I'm so grateful for this lovely review my friend!
Poetry for you and like most of us I believe has many positives, self expression not least as is often the case, sometimes a lot easier to say it in with pen as opposed to the spoken word..

I'm an ardent lover hidden within the deep confines of my maturity, a lover of poetry and expressing deep meanings in the most mundane observations.
