Many time our poems come out from torn threads that we have witnessed in and participated in; in this life along its rocky and jagged way.
Poetry is deep embedded in our hearts, soul, mind, and body. It’s words are inked on paper the tells untold stories that others many not know we have encountered.
This is beautifully penned and the whole idea is relatable and the wording is perfect to get this idea across.

Us, who love to write. We need a glimpse of a memory to awake our minds to writing. I enjoyed the flow of thoughts on my favorite subject. Sometime writing can be hard. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Another classic write in this very meaningful and insightful poem, dear P.V. So often it is the torn thread which unravels the events in our lives and you have very poetically and artistically captured this in the poem. Love the many figures of speech in the poem and the rich imagery in the words. You always say so much in so few words, dear poetess. Lovely work! I love this succinct poetic gem and with a grateful heart, I thank you for sharing it...

I particularly enjoyed your closing verse here. Words are born from the tearing of our life’s fabric, the sleeping mind in a state of dreaming or even from wishes we had that have yet to come true. A poem sweeps up the pieces of all these things and lays them in neat lines and a poem is unearthed full of personal meaning and ready to be shared.
It’s a unique way to express how our words evolve into the poems that speak for us on the page. A most interesting idea, well conveyed.

Often times the words we put on paper are born out of the unsettling situations that life puts us in. I absolutely loved the imagery of torn threads, unwoven dreams here conveys the disappointment and resilience midst of all this there is bejeweled lace around your neck. Lovely way of describing how can one still be happy despite the mess happening around. I see this is a beautiful self reflection poem. A truly poignant write, dear Muskaan.
Have a beautiful day :)

I will be most honoured to! Grateful for your support Sameeksha!
The analogy of a torn thread is really beautiful. It's when something significant in our life gets torn, that a poem usually emerges. I also like to envision the state of fragility of emotion that usually accompanies the writing of a poem. I'm sure you had that impression in your mind, while writing the poem, Muskaan.
I relate to and appreciate all the aspects of a poem that you describe here, so eloquently:
unwoven dreams,
treachery to heart's honesty,
sometimes a wish that gave up
halfway through.
Indeed, a poem is all these things and I loved how complete your analysis of penning a poem is. A poem is so much a dream, we never realize. And yet, we never give up that dream.
I could go on and on. Suffice to say here, I loved the poem.

I love that part about poetry, it keeps making sense over and over every time and in every different way it is thought over and to write becomes such a blessing to put the noise out inside.
I'm so grateful for this in-depth review, Divya, you understand and look into a poem with every bit of its line and look straight through it and the poet who wrote it as you did here, as I did, after all, had the state of fragility when I was writing this, you're so cool sometimes, very grateful for these beautiful words and fulfilling encouragement, I value them a lot ❤️
