Crooked introspection

Crooked introspection

A Poem by Poetic_Vixen
"

Sometimes the scars we own we aren't even the cause of.

"
And in scars we live, of what we bled,

those tears that remained ever unshed,

no voice to heed the words hooked in,

only whispers of chaos wearing silence,

for thoughts brewing of things we never dared to sin,

we'll remain lovers speaking under breaths,

scraping misery as our only truth on our fragile skin.

A truly haunting reflection on the pain we conceal. Sometimes, the deepest wounds often come from those whom we love the most. Your imagery here has touched me, so vivid, somber and real. I am delighted by how beautifully you captured the essence of raw and enduring nature of emotional pain and suffering.
I loved this poem, my dear friend.
I wish you healing too :)

I read a lot of despair in your words. Your writing is so compelling here. Fate has forced chaos and tears on the lovers and circumstances make them helpless. It strikes a chord deeply. We've all been there some time. Picking up the pieces, nursing scars and still being hopelessly in love. This is a beautiful poem.
