Fox and Soot.

Fox and Soot.

A Poem by manda louise.
"

struggling with the concept of god. how can he hate me for loving someone?

"

How is this even fair?
That you’d put me down here.
On the ground
In the dirt
Rabbits foot,
Fox and soot.
How is it even fair?
That you’d be up there.
In the sky
Plenty of life,
Fish and wishes.
How did this even happen?
I made my choice
And you took action.
All I wanted was to be ok.
All I wanted was to feel lovely.
Whole and happy and needed and me.
But I made my decision and you took your action.
I made my decision
And you cast me aside.
I am unholy.
I am the dirt.
I am fox and soot and rabbit’s foot.
No, I’m not worthy of life in the sky.
I’ve made my decision,
You took your action.
And now I’m asking
Why?
