I am alone again, waiting

The despondency weeps from the cracks in my knuckles

Let me in

But nothing could change your mind

Soggy eyes and flushed cheeks

Rain begins to pour 

I am soaked in reverence and rendered powerless

This is not what I had planned

But I will come back tomorrow and do it all over again

If it means that you will love me.

I like this. The write for one, but I like that spirit of the one being written about. They aren't just giving up. They like what they had/have, and they want it to continue. It's a nice switch from this throwaway world we live in.
