a hopeful see-you

a hopeful see-you

A Poem by T.H.

wonderful wonderful time

intricate intricate fate

glorious glorious gait

bothersome bothersome crime

hide it inside of your chest

kindle stramineous heart

letters you’ve written at last

meant for the only of parts

houses of hope and despair

two indivisible twins

one for the light of the day

other at night churns the air

many of those who have failed

blame it on terrible lot

hear me o child and take heed

nothing is all that you sought

bear your burden with pride

through desires and wills, sift

through strenuous life you find

your burden is also your gift

blossoming blossoming field

imminent imminent sky

certainly certainly you

hopefully hopefully i

I like your play with the words, beyond regular word-play per se. I can tell you really appreciate the English language. 'Burden is also your gift'. Thank you

Burden is also your gift. So many lines seem to be poetically depressed or restrained. But it could just be my mood.

Lovely read

With love,

Matthew
