idividualistic rituals

idividualistic rituals

A Poem by thenudebicyclist

so consumed by your needs for gratification

never venturing out only swallowing what is shoveled down your throat.

you make the claim of being an individual.

you state you have free will and can do anything you desire.

is it really you talking?

or is it just what you have been told to think.

how far are you really willing to go?

if we all want to be unique

then we are all the SAME

This is really powerful, well written! I like the use of profound language, yet it is still comprehensible. The last two lines sum up the piece very well, and the use of the oxymoron works in your favor. Well done.
