i had a plan:

Nonchalance!

i had planted                                        

                Some sparks in the hay......

Explosion was known.

 

It, still hurts though.

 

Finally,

        Reaped the blow.....

Calm confusion was pretence,,,

Doors were bolted,                    

Windows grilled,                         

And lights out.                             

 

Stillness was the only sound.

 

i discovered your notes

                in the survival kit:                               

some thoughts, to calm me.    

some promises, to fuel hope.  

And that joke,                              

        Ridiculously stupid,

                        Hazardous joke.

Maybe, laughing seemed fun;

i laughed my a*s off,                          

                        just for the sake of it.

 

They found me.....

They hunt in packs.

Sadness, depression, grief, remorse.....

 

Walls were just formality,

Scratched, bit, dragged.....

                        out in the rain.

Laughter invited cries.....                           

                I wept for a while.

 

Now everything is damp.

Damn!

oh no probs.......admire your honesty......
this is just about one of those decisions which you know is wrong............
then when that impacts your present, though you knew this would happen.....it still hurts......you fight emotional outburst and do anything but face the reality.......untill something silly breaks all illusions and then you weep.......damping your soul, spirit, courage, everything.....

I really love your style of writing, it is just so different from everyone else's...
you did complete justice with this one as well, and i suggest that you keep the title as it is, it fits perfectly. my favorite line has to be "stillness was the only sound."...simple but profound!

wow this is perfectly a poem to be analysed and appreciated.
First of al===l amazing writing style as usual.
Well it's about a human saying nonchalance is my plan but still feeling everything deep inside.All possible sorts of emotions have already been described above.Planting an explosion nonchalantly but still feeling hurt.Life makes us so.Cannot be helped.You have projected the helplessness in laughing for the sake of laughing.Such a terrible condition.
