Claustrophobic Ambitions

Claustrophobic Ambitions

A Poem by Pushkar Prabhat
"

My dreams are afraid of closed spaces.

Claustrophobic   Ambitions

i
tiny self
~Acknowledge~
unimportant as i may,
i know! i know i am, was, will; be nothing.
but nothing is not what i want
'anything' can not satisfy
demands i have none
just desire:
fairplay.
i
appreciate
resistance like challenges.
favouritism doesn't cause me to spill,
but an active conspiracy deserves my wrath;
deserves every man, an opportunity, O fate!
don't limit me to one room, same walls.
untie me, stop,
remove this
blindfold.
i
can hear,
these walls closing,
stop, stop, make it stop; don't crush my
Claustrophobic Ambitions
for my dreams are big, huge, GRAND!
don't squeeze them in the corner
of immediate necessities;
of worldly duties;
Stop!
i
warn, though,
insatiable lust this,
knows nothing about proportions.
potential is the motto & persistence a strategy
resilience is my revolution.
all force shall amplify
i beseech thee
O fate,
Stop!
i
humble being,
~Acknowledge~
but you don't know my dreams,
fear shall only feed their survival instincts.
let the doors flung open; let breathe.
Stop! Stop don't crush my
precious, rebellious
claustrophobic
ambitions.

Loved the Theme. Creativity at it's Best. And, I Respect your Urge for Freedom. Being Yourself is the Best thing one can do for himself, for Each Soul has it's own Life Path. Opinion's of other's are like Onion's. Nothing Else really Matter's. Remind me of that Song. It's my Life =)

i really like this piece, it is filled with wonderful oxymorons and paradoxes ---

in the grand scheme of things...just let me what i am going to be...

don't try to stifle my dreams...don't let them die in the tediousness of necessity...let me dream above all that.

I have to say this is my new favorite of yours.. I love the message and the creative way in which it was delivered.. empowering, inspiring, and honest!.. so many awesome lines..

"don't squeeze them in the corner
of immediate necessities;
of worldly duties;".... we too often let this happen.. I know I am guilty of this..

"potential is the motto & persistence a strategy
resilience is my revolution."... heck yeah!.. I love this!..

love the rebellious tone... we all have obstacles, fears, and baggage, but with that strength, determination, and resilience--we will overcome, thrive, and succeed.. well done!

one small note, just my opinion, for what it is worth..

"let the doors flung open; let breathe."... stumbled here.. would probably change "flung" to "fling" and cut out the word "let" and just say breathe.. or add "me".. "let me breathe"... but having used "let" in the first part of the sentence would probably just leave it off.. again, just my opinion :)

Fight! Kick, yell, scratch! Do not stop.
A fiery passion and inspiration. Beautifully reflects your chaotic yet unyielding state, not to give up or withdraw but begging, demanding to keep moving forward. I love it Mr. Nese or Mr. Serious according to this.
I guess giving up and wallowing in self pity... :P
I guess I have to face my claustrophobic ambitions... Nice way to start a year.. :)

One word: Impressive!

Definitely a unique piece of work as well. I admire creativity and you got me with your stanzas going in and out. Excellent choice of font too.

May I ask what inspired you to write this? This poem is an inspiration itself. You sound like you have a big imagination. Outstanding job!
