Free my Mind

Free my Mind

A Poem by Pushkar Prabhat
"

About the freedom of thoughts and imagination.

"
Don't clog my mind
......with your scavenging thoughts.
Don't blok his way,
.......with barricades of righteousness.
Don't govern his flight,
......with your induced beliefs.
Do not sentence him,
.......to a prison of obsolete knowledge.
STOP!

Let him, breathe truth,
.......feed upon facts.
Let him, be inspired,
........imbibe nature.
Let him, wander around,
.......in meadows of freedom.
Let him, create a castle of thoughts,
........in a world of imagination!
LET LIVE!

I find this poem very interesting and liberating. There is always a sense of constriction when others attempt to squelch individuality and uniqueness, especially for the artist. While art is everywhere, there are many who shun it as a waste of time and attempt to confine our expressions, and sometimes they do this simply by their reluctance to accept our art. Now, I'm not sure if you wrote this for or about artists but it's how I interpreted it; and I agree with Sami, the image of castles of thoughts is great!
