PURANA GHAR ( in HINDI)

a HINDI poem but NOT in DEVANAGARI script. It is about the emotions one goes through while leaving one's chilhood home forever.

wo makaan ki jisko bachpan se ghar bulaya tha,
ashiyana samajh ke barso se jise sajaya tha,
chor chale hai usko akhiri alwida keh ke,
dil me to use lekar, par vida le ke.
yaad aane ko to har diwaar bhi yaad aayegi,
gujre sadiyon ki jhalak jaan liye jaayegi.

wo chat pe jhanda jo ladakpan me kabhi lagaya tha,
phool ke paudhe jo shauk se mai laaya tha.
chal pade dur saaman me wo jhanda le ke,
ab ped ban chuke paudho ko dua de ke.
jab rang ghola tha tanki me wo holi, yaad aayegi,
wo bulb ki ladiyan to diwaali ki rangoli yaad aayegi.

isi ghar me to pehli baar maine kadam badhaya tha,
kaise bhulu ki pyaar ka pehla khat bhi to yahi aaya tha.
chal raha hu inhi yaadon ka bhaari samaan le ke,
aur kuch to majburi me ghar hi ke hawale kar ke.
itni khushiyo ke beech kuch to gam ki bhi yaad aayegi,
akhiri mahino me dendaaro se papa ki ladayi yaad aayegi.

ab naye ghar ko basayenge jaise ise basaya tha,
khushiyan fir aayengi jaise ghum, dabe pao chala aaya tha.
aur fir hum to ja rahe hai jeewan ka sabak le ke,
bhul to thi huyi par ab galtiyon ka karz de ke.
maana ki jahan jawan huye us angan ki kami satayegi,
ab jawan khoon hai jazba, bahaar laut ke fir aayengi.

Yes for Carnival which is this month .The largest show on earth we say.Two days of our entire country getting a free pass to do anything and everything and there are a lot of tourists that come for this.
