A poem about the aristocracy and the poor, about money and power.
Of course, I tried to see how many big words I could possibly fit into one poem...
This, a pretentious assembladge of prodigious lexicons
An abstruse, arcane cryptograph of the affluent and opulent ones
The lackadaisical populace who haven't cared to alter their poise
And landed in the pluperfect, vainglorious life of grandoise
The pure, bumptious huffiness of those who grok
A virtuous justification to look down upon the penurious flock
Look upon them as if they were psychotic brutes
And treating them with consummate abuse
Wealth is sovereignity, but sovereignity is not sapience
Fortune for meritorious pedagogy left to compleat wastage
And so, they, in their fatuous, asinine leverage
Preside over the world and cause supernumerary distress
But soon those in penury will commence their mutiny
They will devise a communal conflagration strategy
Their unsolicited vociferations will be heard, austere and unrestrained
And in dust and desolation these vast lexicons will crescively decay
Wow! Vocabulary ftw! haha, u can be my new dictionary now lol. This is well written, I feel it may go over some peoples heads tho tbh. Still, a very good write. My fav line is "Wealth is sovereignity, but sovereignity is not sapience" Thats quote of the day for me tbh. Keep at it :)
