Does Heaven Exist

Does Heaven Exist

A Poem by The Nameless
"

No, I am not an atheist. This poem is just describing different people's religious views.

"

Does Heaven exist? A question often asked
A constant debate, an endless contemplate

"Of course it does!" says those of us
Who wake up each day feeling love and no hate

Some put on a show, respect they want to own
But they don't want to pay, their religion is counterfeit

Some believe out of fear of hell
In uncertainty they ever dwell

Some hate the pain of life
And for something better they will strife

Some don't believe at all
Disappointment is what makes them fall
They fear spending time for nothing
But if they die, they can't feel anything

Some think that science conquers all
With endless evidence they stand tall
Yet many of that is merely theories
And religion is older and part of many cultures

In the end it's better for the human race
To live a happy life in ignorance
If people follow the words of the Lord
A peaceful Earth with love can be taught

So I suppose the answer lies with you
Which one will you dare to choose?
