Dream and Hope

Dream and hope and do not fear disappointment, for reality is empty.

Dreams are hope and Hope is dreams
But nothing is ever quite what it seems
For joy there is sorrow that has to be paid
For dreams, disappointment is never delayed

Some continue to walk into walls
Their dreams are what keeps them tall
Pain is something they can ignore
By drowning it in false endeavour

There are those of us who want more
Our search for something real is constantly called
We do not want the pain of disappointment
But this search of ours is disappointment

Deep inside of us, something is dying
We are blinded by saying that dreaming is lying
We ignore the pain, but also a vital part of humanity
For hoping and dreaming in truth is vanity

Ignoring this beauty is a form of insanity
We should take what we have and live happily
Ignorance is bliss and reality lifeless
So dream and hope and hope and dream
