The absence is terrifying but more so is indifference. Your voice so telling - Humored not by conversation. I know your precious vacancy craves not an intercourse of words - for they can solace ear but cannot fondle. You don't wait for my call anymore. I hear you fading but I beg of you to please not tire of me. I will never fold.
This is the most depressing part of love and life, when a loved one just is not into us any more. I loved -
You don't wait for my call anymore.
I hear you fading
but I beg of you
to please not tire of me.
I will never fold.
100/100 for such a bang on potrayal of the desperation of dying love...
Regards, DN
How indeed do we keep the desire strong and our relationships intimate? Your work is uplifting. Honest and intimate as well.
Enjoyed this poem.
Be well.
Your begging flows with equanimity.
You beg for him not to tire of you,
You mean he is not tired now ?
Indifference is terrifying --- yes .
You know, indifference to him would
work as well.
Oh, well, it is faultlessly constructed.
Good Luck.

Another beautiful poem, it seems you effortlessly let your flow just flow, writing down what you feel inside. I love your use of words and the way you form your thoughts. Great stuff!
desirous not just of touch but of a passion created by words...nothing worse than indifference...
had that happen in several relationships...the initial excitement wears off..the physical attraction wanes a bit and we find out there is nothing else to the relationship....at least on one side or the other.
how sad it is...
when just a reassuring voice could comfort us.
i am in a long distance relationship....and words are all we have most of the time.
nicely penned.
sorry i am not more helpful as a critic...but i don't tear poems apart just to have something to say...if i like them i like them...and yours ..i like. as they are.
