She

She

A Poem by Marni A. K.
"

This is a cento (a form of writing that uses wors and lines from other poems "randomly" put together)

"

I could not help her.
She was loved.
Beginnings are always more fun.
A safe haven.
Who knows where.
If you've got no character you'll turn back.
Changing pace and approach but not direction.
"I'm staying."
The guide has let us down.
I forgive.
And if not you'll keep on going.
We describe what we see as we see it.
A perfectly aimed weapon of retaliation.
Living without judgment is probably a bad idea.
We know the same things.
What you wait for, I wait for.
This is how she always loved me.
I have to learn alone.
If I can't rise, then let me sink.
I am from those moments.
Some won't look up.
She never thought they were important.
Haven't changed much over time.
Our names do not appear.
So much for endings.
