Letting Nature Take its Course

Letting Nature Take its Course

A Poem by Marni A. K.
"

True Story

"

On the ground
Walking like a drunk
Head flailing
On its back
The back of its head
Bleeding
Legs slowly yet spastically
Kicking the air
Fast paced breathing
Suddenly slowing
Struggling and forcing
Each breath.
Yesterday
I saw a bird die.

Oh thats so sad! it's horrible when natures creatures die like that. But its part of the cycle of life!
