The Fairest Maiden

The Fairest Maiden

A Poem by themaidenlenore

As a time of evil arises and doom

Come seek to the heir, and watch out for the loom

A girl is born, and we are saved

Or perhaps it is that we have been graved

The evil stands high

Will she save us or die?

Only the brave with strength in their heart,

May escape the Excessum's poisonous dart

Now one has come

Here starts the sound of the drums

When they stop like the darkness

Will she flounder, will she fall?

We call her name

And here shall come the dame

The maiden shall bring back hope and restore peace

Her eyes as sharp and fierce

We call her name

Evermore

Lenore

Lenore

It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore-

Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore
