When she kisses me

When she kisses me

A Poem by TheLovestruckPoet
"

Poem for my future wife

"
I can't breathe
I cant think right
When your lips
Finally meet mine.

Reality is blocked
The rest of the world seems so distant
Our lips are locked
As a few seconds leave us breathless.

The small moment seemed like an eternity
Our cheeks brushed
My cheeks were flushed
When you kissed.

When our lips touched,
A minute turned to an hour
With these changes in time.
In our own little universe,
The sparks between us flew like butterflies.

"I need you,
I want you,"
Now words become tangible.

"It's a sin!
It's unnatural!"
People scream at this moment so infallible.

I can't breathe
I can't think right
When your lips finally meet mine.

The love between us burned like
The fire in your eyes.
From the moment you kissed me,
I knew you meant to say,
"You're mine."
