A fantasy

A poem for someone I had a deep connection with but wasn't meant to be

You say there is no spark

And you leave me in the dark

I went out of my comfort zone

Yet i remain alone

I saw my future with you 

It was such a beautiful view

I saw us travelling the world

I saw you getting that promotion you deserve

I saw our families smile

As I walked down the aisle

I saw you singing to our child in my tummy

And trying to be funny

But that was all a fantasy

That I cannot bare to see

The pain that come with it 

It's too hard to admit

I was falling for you fast

Little did I know it wouldn't last

I still think of what could have been

And what we could have seen

You'll always be my fantasy

Even though to me its agony
