The Tree ElfA Poem by The Little WriterAn excerpt from the story, The Kingly Chronicles: Part 2Once, there was a man, who lived in a tree. He lived with a tree elf, whom he longed to set free. Although the tree elf, oh so love to fly, he knew with the werewolves, it likely would die. But on day, he just couldn't resist, he thought with them together, nothing could go amiss. But, alas! on there travels, they were attacked after all! They were flipped! They were tossed! Just like a rag doll. And in the commotion, the tree elf was slain! So mad was the man, he searched for the bane. A pit formed in his stomach, he had lost one so dear. But he knew, he just knew, he must rise above fear, he must rise above sorrow, That much was clear. And when he'd beat all the wolves, he searched for his friend. And if he must lend his heart, than his heart he would lend.
