Breakfast.

Breakfast.

A Poem by Maija Darling

It's silly for me
to believe in fate
or even love, for that matter
But shooting stars don't
happen behind just anybody
And feeling your spirit ignite
at the sound of a single voice
isn't something that happens everyday
"I just want to make you breakfast",
you sighed to me in the car
It's such a simple thing
but it would mean more than anything
if I could wake up in your sheets
and have mornings with you.
