I don't think I've ever said this

No, not to anyone before

but you were actually a waste of my time

I waited for you

I invested in you

and yet you took off on a plane today

without even the phone call you promised

I let you in

both emotionally and physically

and I never f*****g do that for anyone

"I'm so in love with you", you said

Well, I'm more than glad right now

that I never said it back

Because there's a difference between love and in love

and you barely knew that boundary

And at this very moment

I understand that I never truly loved you

You wasted my chances

and you should give my book and my hat back
