I'm Only Temporary

I realized something tonight

as I walked across campus

just as the cold tried to kiss my lips.

I've always said I didn't believe in love

but now I understand

that I've fallen in love more times than I can count.

It just lasts mere moments instead of years

minutes instead of months

And to be honest,

I'm not sure what's worse.

Having lived in denial for so long

or knowing that I will never be someone's forever.

i feel the same way about falling in love many times a day.. maybe its just a love for life i dont know..

as far as being someone's forever.. i guess that can happen in some kind of ways even if you've never met them
