There is No One Here...

There is No One Here...

A Poem by J. Land

There is no one here to pass the time.
No riddle to solve, no rhyme.
The clock is stuck at half past the hour.
No light, no sound, no power.

Even the clouds cover the day.
No children go out to play.

I love the rhyme scheme in this, it isn't too overwhelming but still has an impact. I also really like the tone this sets, sort of mysterious and in limbo, like something is going to happen. Reminds me of the end of the world. Great poem

Oh this is definetly down my path..... Timeless place that already is and indication of sorts , no more questions in conssonance answering. No light or sound around now here is what makes it difficult to relate to. The word power as in some culures that would mean no divinity it is difficult to equate this writing to atheism. It felt more like a standstill moment when one behold as so as to look oneself from te outside hence no play time.

Oh boy I am reaching....

Very enticing.

Thankyou
