Moon Travels

Moon Travels

A Poem by J. Land
"

Haiku and then some.

"

She passes you by,
Never noticing your eyes
Follow her white glow.

Downward she gazes
Lighting earth with silver flame
Reflected dimly.

Her chorus of pins
Silently bids its goodbyes
As twilight brings dawn.

After one long blink
That singular flaming sphere
Returns his long gaze.

And earth looks away
Shielded by the safety of shadows.
