I was Lucky Once

I was Lucky Once

A Poem by J. Land
"

Free verse.

"

I was lucky once
It ruined me for work

I spend my days
Scratching cards
Chasing numbers
Lamenting my spare
Closet with only
A few threadbare
Suits, but no ties
