I Saw a Perfect Butterfly

Nature is fragile

I saw a perfect butterfly alight
On a perfect leaf. But when she
Saw me, she trembled and took flight
Across a meadow, her
Movement erratic in the free
Currents which carried burr
And stem and leaf on her plight.

The butterfly flying across the foggy meadow feels a little much for me,

This is quite nice but the foggy meadow feels a little much for the simplicity of this poem...

fogs blocks clarity and what you have here is concrete and not needing a hidden meaning.
