Outside The Room

Outside The Room

A Poem by thejohnphenomenon

his head tilted

drool stains

hahahahahahaha

red-faced

shatterring clang of the swords Orion and Apollo

overhead

tsunamies of charging armies and man-made earthquakes

below

underneath

dance lights and booming speakers

all, outside his room

bobbing his head

up and down go the missiles outside

the radio turned up high

high goes a teenager and his criminal record

keyboard sounding

smoke signals, police sirens, public service announcements blaring

his guitar shredding

fall does the shreds of the paper-thin sky

stop smiling

your mother is dead
