Climbing Up The JordanA Poem by thejohnphenomenonjumpstart skipping between jumpropes with grooved out oxygen-high slitted eyes pink curves beneath my ears
swirling sandstorms fogging up my rear view mirror sizzling soil crumbling upwards before each step swaying to the sounds of shine we're set
before me riots break into seas of disorder or after me angels tear off their wings in joyous sacrifice the road cracks knowing unity full well
on my dew-drenched green pastures the sky-cotton passes by without a wink the trees wave at the star's rhythmic war-dance the fish swim, the birds fly
whether cracks form at my heels whether the mountains bow down to my stature everything gathers at the Jordan as one broken puzzle
surrounding arrows do not pierce my iron hide pieces of heaven do not crush my skull not unstoppable untouchable
rusted shuriken gathered under the timeline is ultimate the now is the mighty mountainous sword that plummets from heaven's sea in a blood-freezing cry tomorrow, shrouded but searing in a bright murk yesterday, .. . .... . . . .. . ..
gather at the Jordan He smiles at all that accepts his beauty millions step to the left, to the left though my feet step to the left I step with the Jordan
