Insane

Insane

A Poem by Januel
"

You might have silenced me, but I am louder than ever.

"

I might have fallen down this rambled street

Crossed boundaries I hoped I’d never meet

Fought when bravery was at its best

And lost, when I failed the unspoken test

There was no beginning

This was not meant to be

Don’t charge me with monotony

When you’re wasting your dreams

I fought for what I believed in

Fought for the right to love

You testified my loneliness

And charged me with being insane

many looks - not a single word... damn.

Its flawed - but you knew that ...so how?
What's really important to me about this work? - Rhyme no - and we both know its broken but it didn't really matter so - continuing on... content has teeth but its held back - why? Rhythm really affects the flow... the stumbles happen when the content aligns within or just with other lines and the reader naturally continues past a line break. So the flow is what's important here. Yes.

Read aloud and feel where the rhythm ends but the reading sense continues and think on it... once the flow is smooth this poem will kick butt.

The first line also just doesn't "read" right... it 'sounds' wrong.

Take care,
Chris
