Sometimes emotions are overwhelming and putting pen to paper is the only comfort you can provide yourself. Written 2/25/17

This is a poem for

Me

I need to rest my

Conscience

Is telling me to

Speak

All these words

These

Emotions are

Bottled

Tears stay at the 

Station

Is where my heart

Weights

On my lungs

Sometimes I can't breathe

Air

Is where my limbs are floating

Bodies

Of water drift to the shore

I can save myself

But I choose to 

Drown

               In

     This

                Ocean

                           Of

           Feeling

this has a very ethereal feel, flows almost like a smooth cut up with a vibe of drowning definitely there until resurfacing and coolly floating away
