An interesting piece; it is heavy with desperation. As I was reading it I sensed the inherent rhythm and recognised it as a song lyric. So many of my own poems are, in fact, song lyrics. Nice work.
Nice rhythm and repeating phase; get a hopeful feeling at the poem's end. I see go to YouTube and record the song. What accompaniment would you have? Piano? Guitar?
