Dear Friend

Dear Friend

A Poem by Mark Anthony Games (Human Voice)

A smile, just a smile
Penetrates deep into my soul,
And destroys the negativity in me,
That always pulls my smile down

A laugh, just a laugh
Resonates deep into the empty chasm of my soul
It echoes so very loud and fills me
This allows me to love you my friend

Your smile, your laugh
Is always there when I need someone
And you're always there ready to be my someone
I could never wish for a better friend

A friend, just a friend
No, so much more than a friend
Our souls speak without words
You are my council, my guardian angel

Honored, just honored
Just to know you I am honored
Yet I am able to call you my friend
And for this I am truly blessed

Sometimes I think, 7B +/- people in the planet, surely we could get a handful of true friends, or at least in the worst case scenario, one real friend. This is a true blessing if there can any be found. Thanks for sharing.
