Simply because the stuff I have posted recently has been a bit intense, to lighten the mood. I wrote this in Alice Springs, Australia, while watching 'Love Actually'

Sure I love you angel

I just never guessed

That being in love

Would be more painful than being alone

Love is treading a thin line

I am questioning, is this a blessing or a curse

They told me love would be easy

I will not have to do anything

But I am fighting for sanity here

Think I have forgotten how to live without you

So now I have a problem

As I don't think I want you around anymore

You are playing with my heart

I am nothing but a puppet on a string

A nodding dog on the parcel shelf

Love is a lie, It is just something Hollywood invented

To make us all so damn depressed and lonely

That we go to watch Hugh Grant movies
