what is happiness?

What is happiness?  Some people find the only way to be happy or to exscape the real world is to selfharm.others seem to always have a endless well of happiness but, on the inside its not so. 

We are told by a young age I will be happy if I'm skinny i will be happy if I have more money I will be happy if I had this 

I don't want to jump though hoops to be happy. What ever happened to happiness is a sunday? It was replace with happiness is wifi. Everyone wants to be happy. Everyone is a person nor better or worse then you. Me, we all need to feel loved. But yet we target the ones that are happy and make them as unhappy and broken as the rest of us. I don't want happiness if I have to change who I am because happiness is offen unoticed and once you notice it it is already long gone.

I asked kids my age what is happiness they said? Happiness is a new iphone  there is a a thin line between happiness and dispair.
