A Simple "No" NEVER Suffices

A Simple "No" NEVER Suffices

A Poem by Solis-Lopez
"

because it's really f***ing true A LOT OF THE TIME

"

She never seemed any different.
At least not this year you know?

That's how it always starts though,
they don't seem any different until you least expect it.

She acted the same,
as in dealt with me the same,
   talked to me the same,
waved at me from a distance the same.

Until she started to
   follow
   me
   almost
   everywhere.

She tended to me differently was what I noticed first.
She seemed to want to take care of my ever need.

I didn't pay it any mind though.
Who would? It's awesome when people buy you food.
Of course, then she rushes to find me at one point.
I finally figured:
   That's the last straw.

I ask a friend of mine,
"you better tell me the f***ing truth. Does she like me?"
INSERT AWKWARD SILENCE HERE.
"...yes"
What do I do?
"F***!!!"

So the moral of this story is:
Abby wisdom # 1
YOU DO NOT FALL FOR YOUR FRIENDS!

About
Well it looks like I'm in college, writing and drawing in my spare time. I'm not much of a writer but it gets me going and I like to just sprawl ideas out wherever I am. more..
