I Woke Up Crying

a poem about a dream i had a long time ago. it really has been a while hasn't it now? ...*drifts off* xD

I saw something in the corner of my eye

walking away and looking at me.

I turned to look at it but it kept walking.

I ran after it,

trying really hard to see what it was.

It was insanity when I finally found it;

him again.

It felt like forever

just standing there in the cold with you.

I tried to say something but you softly rammed your forehead into my shoulder

cradling me close so that I didn't leave.

I realized I couldnt feel it,

and started crying without any real emotion.

I tried to say something,

to tell you that there was nothing there.

I closed my eyes to summon the strength to talk,

but when I opened them I was staring at my ceiling,

your barely visible face wasn't there anymore.

I sat up then, in the cold of my bedroom

realizing that I had

woken up crying.

meheh! it's been a while since i've written anything on here. i've been writing random stories at home since i can't seem to come up with anything else
