Keys

Keys

A Poem by A. J. Kingsley

The line between pain and relief has become a thin one

I enjoy the static that flows with my tears

Unsure which pain is worse

I unlocked a door that can never be closed

The keys are in my hand running back and forth

Back and forth

Back and forth

Someone stop my hands

They've felt the static and

They like it
