Wild RideA Poem by A. J. KingsleyLife is a roller-coaster. Not all roller-coasters are fun...
It's like the worst roller-coaster I've ever been on.
There are the inclines where I'm distracted for a time, even happy. Then come the drops. The hard, long, sorrowful drops where the pressure in my head is often unbearable. The turns are the worst. The harsh, burning turns that leaves me with blood boiling and eyes piercing. I long to get off this ride and plant my feet on solid ground, to hold onto something real.
