This Shining Armor

This Shining Armor

A Poem by A. Highly. Addictive. Substance.

"This Shining Armor"

At times my mistakes,
Can be wider than the cracks,
I see only what I see,
Believe fiction over fact,

Perhaps these stories are just stories,
Yet the villain is still true,
Allow me to be the knight,
In shining armor who rescues you,

To conquer the heart is to conquer the mountain,
For the heart lies captive at its peak,
Hold strong, my love, to see,
Believe in me, Believe.

That was wonderfully written. Love several of the lines you use in this. Such as the peak being where the heart is held. One thing though, "Believe fiction over flat,"? Is that what you meant, "flat"? Or "fact"? Good write though.
