if you only knew

If you only knew,

what I've been going through,if you understood 

my pain.

Then you know why, 

I've got tears in my eyes,

there's no smile on my face,

no remembrance of

happy days.

If you cared to ask,

why my days were blue,

maybe you'd understood 

my rage.

My hearts been tron out,

my dreams taken away,

my hope has run out

and my skies 

stay gray.

If you cared to ask,

then you would know.

If you were to look,

straight into my face,

and don't be scared 

of my gaze.

Then you would know that, 

the scars on my arms,

look just like the scars,

on my heart.

If you were to look,

then you would know.

You would see,

deep into my eyes.

And you would know.ba

It is lovely piece of writing filled with honest and true emotions coming from depth of your heart. I feel every line and relate to me. I love and enjoy it. I have composed such poem on this theme entitled with If Only You Knew too. We must keep in mind, we all human have emotions but someone gives space to these emotion and some time such emotions are useless. As a poem it is nice but if you are really in this situation it is dangerous for your creative thought. Nice job! Thanks for sharing.
