The sounds in the night air

As I heard that sound late at night

I wondered what it could be

Maybe a lost soul wandering around

Or even just an Owl going by

I've never really known what it was

But my imagination makes me think

Of all the things that can happen

Out in the darkness of the night

With the air moving so slowly

Or going by quickly in a breeze

Sounds seem to travel from all around

In the coldness of the night air
