The Feeling Of Rain

It rained just now. And this came to mind. Hope you like it. =)

The thunder in the distance
Lightning right above me
I smell the scent of rain
As it falls down on top of me

Smiling I look towards the sky
Feeling all my pain wash away
Knowing things are better
With just a little rain

It slowly starts to stop
As I close my eyes tightly
Knowing my sin is forgiven
Until the next rain storm

One last flash of lightning
Goes off in the distance
As I head back inside
To enjoy my new found life.
