Yearning for his touch

I like this guy. And he likes me. But there is this girl. Who he likes more. So what can I do.

That first night we met
He started to flirt
Which led to a kiss
And made it to sex.

But I don't regret it
For he is amazing
Making me feel love
That is real and true.

He is always on my mind
No matter what I do
I think of that first kiss
And the other things.

But there is another girl
Who has his heart
So now I must wait
For her to break his.

When that does happen
I will be here waiting
Taking him in my arms
Until it all ends on love.

Small to my eyes and simple. Yet simple poems are always straight forward that's what i enjoyed about this poem you did not try to sugar it up and make it like a wonderful piece of art like a cupcake. Simple is always good just like a muffin.

Hmm not sure if ends on love, would sound as good as ends in love.

Other than that reads more like a short story than a poem, worth the read and good luck with the wait. Time spent waiting, is time you invest. An investment has the risk of being everything and more, or worse being nothing and taking all.

I hope for you it is the former or something that's a happy medium.
