Silent VigilA Poem by The Faire CeltJust something I wrote in 2006...
The clouds gather in as I sit here
Beginning my patient vigil
Waiting to hear your voice
Returning to my pain-filled heart
I am so scared for you
You continually wander
A little lost angel
Looking for his wings
I am here to help you
Look for yourself
Take you from the wilderness
Of repression and guilt
There is so much more to you
Why can’t they see this
I want you to show yourself
Be who you really are
Rules controlling the spirit
Is the biggest sin of all
You are beautiful to me
A love I keep to myself
I feel the confusion
Overpowering your mind
I pray to God every day
I am not the reason for this pain
Darkness is filling me
As I open my eyes
To another chapter
Without you in it
I am unimaginably frightened
To not feel your touch again
From holding me in your arms
That make me feel safe
I will think of your eyes
Blue like the sky
On a cool autumn morning
With such mystery I could cry
Dear friend I cannot say
What road lies ahead for you
Prayers said every night before I sleep
The end of that road you’ll have me stand
