Alone

Alone

A Poem by Claudia

Looking outside all I see is grass

The sun is shining

Warming all in its path

It beats down on me

And I begin to feel weak

So alone and small

Against everything else

I’m afraid to fall

And of being all by myself

But the world will go on

And they won’t think twice

About the girl who perished

With the roll of a dice

Good job here. I can sense the imagery because it is like that right now at the window behind me. Good job in saying that the sun sapped your engery in short. I like how you say dice at the end to say in short the word "luck." This world only cares about themself. Good job in mixing imagery and a moral point to this poem. Ethan
