Inviting UncertaintyA Poem by The DuckieI laid my eyes upon her, Her hand reaching out for me. I don't know what she wanted, But, that warm inviting smiling, That glimmer that reflecting off her eyes from the sunset, It was too much to resist. And although I never understood the heaviness of that moment, I reached for her hand, And then quickly withdrew as I cowered away from her. Because I'm a duck... and that bread was delicious.
