The Waters That Rippled

The Waters That Rippled

A Poem by Amant Cache

Bright red lights, set on fire the blackened sky

A car stops at the overlook

Nothing else matters, he says-

Except the timing that you love the most

Or is it the people, I'm not sure

He's telling stories again about

Fights and rosebushes, thorns and

My love…I'm getting excited

About the night- I'm high on life

And chilling in the heat…

Thoughts come over me of nirvana and the minds revolution…

Forget about it, I won't…I'm not

The only person- I know they want

A revolution too- CHAOS- don't forget

It's not too late to grab a bicycle

And throw away that last bite- it's not

Too late to eat some trash or to

Ride that hunger…I'm out…
