I thought I knew peace.

My release came when

the wind carried you into my life.

I should have known better

than to trust the wind...

Permanence is not in your nature.

Or the wind's for that matter.

I feel your presence no longer.

THE LOST ROSE

Simplistic, classic yet powerful. I enjoyed the piece. It doesn't sound like it was a long journey but one you did travel without an over night bag. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to read more of your material.
